Liams 8 birthday

Our beloved boy turned 8, yep that is right, 6 kids technically under 8 years. Crazy family. Back to Liam. He is such a great kid. We love his smarts. Liam is going to be a great engineer one day or a evil master. Its up in the air most days what way he is headed but we know he is going to be great at something one way or another. He loves to draw and design his inventions. He is always wanting to watch either the history channel or discovery. He loves to be with his dad and work on a project. He started cub scouts and he loves it. He has discovered a real love for everything outside.
This is how he is every morning. He loves to watch lego shows and history shows. He is very sweet but he does not like to eat breakfast. I hate that we argue about it a lot but he is not a breakfast person much like his mom. He has suprised us though, he likes fried eggs with a runny middle like his mom during this  pregnancy. I have never liked breakfast and hated eggs. I eat them all the time and love the company.
This is a variation of that theme. He wanted breakfast buritos for his birthday. Clif made them and they were awesome.
It was the Sabbath and so we didn't go anywhere so we opened presents instead. He got a Hero Factory Lego set and promptly put it together. He can do them pretty much by himself with a little clarification from Clif or I.
He got a remote control car.
I found some books for him to read. One book was on Ancient Egypt, one was on Rocks and Minerals, and the last one was on Mammals. He loves to read about those things. He studies them and then draws what he learns.
When we turn 8 in our families we receive our own scriptures. So Liam got his own quad with his name on it. He was so excited.
He wanted to have Lasagna so we did. It was really good, and let me say I didn't cook it so thank you Alisa. You made his day.

So Liam wanted carrot cake and Clif came to the rescue. He made him a cake and did all the meals. Clif really did awesome providing a good birthday for Liam. I was totally feeling bad for him since Clif also had to do all of the Twins birthday too. This is the year of the super Clif. Clearly though he makes awesome kids and he better love being around Liam, I see a whole lot of fishing for Clif and Liam in the future.

You are very welcome and I can't believe that little ol' you gave birth to such a big baby. No wonder you pushed so long! She is super cute, though.

I can't believe he's 8! It's been too long since we've been together...
